You can register online before your visit –which is great for minimising any queuing. Or you can use one of our tablets at Nottingham Climbing Centre (or your own smart phone/tablet). When you have completed your form you will need to complete the process at reception.
If you have been asked to (re)fill in a waiver, these forms are the same as the registering forms.
If you are 18+ and it is your first time climbing and you want to try out bouldering, please watch the above video then fill in the 18+ form.
You use the same form for bouldering only and for climbing and bouldering, just answer the questions appropriately and we will discuss the waiver access with you.
Note that if you are registered for bouldering only and you then want to roped climb you can easily re-register to add a roped climbing waiver.
Bringing a friend? If you are registered with us as an Competent Climbing Member you can supervise up to two registered Novice Members.
(THIS FORM REQUIRES PARENTAL CONSENT)
Junior Unsupervised Access: If you are 14-17 years old, then you can opt to do our Competence Test with a centre instructor, and a legal parent or guardian will need to be at the centre for the duration of the test.
You must be competent at putting on a harness, tying in, belaying and bouldering safely.
Please fill this form in if you have bouldered elsewhere previously and are looking to bring novices bouldering with you.
Our Conditions of Use and the BMC Participation Statement Please note that Nottingham Climbing Centre is a member of the Association of British Climbing Walls (the ABC) and that our registration forms above reflect ABC conditions of use and incorporate the British Mountaineering Council's Participation Statement:
“The BMC recognises that climbing and mountaineering are activities with a danger of personal injury or death. Participants in these activities should be aware of and accept these risks and be responsible for their own actions.”
